A former dean of the University of Alabama School of Law, Kenneth “Ken” Randall serves as the president and CEO of iLaw and iLawGlobal, an education technology enterprise. During Kenneth Randall’s time with the University of Alabama, the school’s football team won three national championships.
Considered one of the best football programs in the country, the Crimson Tide had dozens of alumni playing for National Football League (NFL) teams in 2016. Below are three of the more prominent players.
1. Eddie Lacy: A second round pick by the Green Bay Packers in the 2013 NFL draft, Lacy played just five games in 2016 due to injury, but is an impressive running back when healthy. Throughout his four-year career, he has 3,435 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns.
2. Julio Jones: Considered one of the best wide receivers in the league, Jones was drafted sixth overall by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2011 NFL draft. Through 79 career games, he has 7,610 receiving yards and 40 touchdowns. In 2015, he led the league in both receptions (136) and receiving yards (1,871).
3. Dont’a Hightower: A five-year pro, Hightower is an elite linebacker who has accumulated 231 tackles, 17 sacks, and two forced fumbles throughout his career. He recently signed a four-year, $43.5 million extension with the New England Patriots.
